New Year's Resolutions: Wet and Dry

“Any bootlegger: I resolve to work heart and soul for the retention of the volstead law and against legalizing manufacture and sale of light wines and beers—because I am getting richer as things are.

Any ardent dry and any prohibition enforcement agent: We resolve to show more consideration for bootleggers—because we don’t want to work ourselves out of soft jobs."
